This month, Gracie Holt, Kingston Hospital’s Learning Disability Liaison Practitioner, was approached by the NHS England Learning Disability and Autism Programme to be involved in a short film which aims to inform healthcare professionals and families about the importance of reasonable adjustments. The film was shared at a two-day national healthcare conference run by NHS Confederation, NHS England and NHS Improvement. Gracie was also invited to join a panel of guest speakers for a Q&A session at the conference, which took place in Liverpool on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 June.
