Pregnancy Yoga

We offer pregnancy yoga sessions led by a midwife who is also a qualified yoga instructor.

Benefits of Yoga
Yoga combines body positions with breathing techniques. It is safe to practice during pregnancy and helps improve physical and mental wellbeing.

Who can attend?

The sessions are open to women and birthing people booked to give birth at Kingston Maternity at any stage of pregnancy (not for partners). No previous experience of yoga is necessary. Yoga mats are provided. We suggest you wear comfortable clothing to allow for movement and bring a bottle of water.

The classes run on a Monday from 11.45am – 1pm in the Wellbeing rooms in Antenatal Clinic, ground floor of the Maternity Unit.

How do I book?
In order to attend, you must book online via Eventbrite – search for Pregnancy Yoga – Kingston Maternity or click on this link. Each session costs £12. You can book to attend one session or multiple sessions depending on your preference.
