Disabled patients and visitors


We believe it is essential that patients and visitors to Kingston Hospital are made to feel as welcome as possible when they come to our site.

Wheelchair access

All the pedestrian entrances at Kingston Hospital are suitable for wheelchairs. 

Wheelchairs to take disabled visitors to wards are provided at the main entrance.

There are passenger lifts on every level and disabled toilets in key locations around the hospital, including the main reception area.

Accessible changing space

Kingston Hospital has an accessible changing space, with a hoist and adjustable changing bench, located in the main outpatients waiting area:

Accessible public transport

Low-floor, wheelchair accessible buses run on all the routes that serve the hospital

Car parking

There are blue badge parking spaces on the hospital site for those who need them.

We are currently experiencing a technical issue with our Blue Badge form which we are looking into. We kindly ask that you email khft.bbh-registration@nhs.net with your full name, email address, BBH numbers and car registration number, to register your Blue Badge. We apologise for any inconvenience.
