Maternity key contact numbers


For general enquiries please contact your midwifery team

For antenatal appointments, call 020 8934 2290.

For any concerns:

  • If you are less than 18 weeks and have any concerns, please contact your GP. In an emergency, visit your local Emergency Department
  • If you are 18 weeks pregnant or more and you think you are in labour or have any concerns about yourself or your baby, then please call our maternity helpline on 0208 934 2802. You may be asked to attend our Day Assessment Unit which is open from Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday 8am – 4pm (020 8934 2358) 
  • Please remember to bring your hand-held records with you if you are advised to attend the hospital

Maternity Unit visiting hours:

Two birth partners may be present during your labour and birth, one of which can stay with you throughout your stay on the maternity unit. You may have 2 visitors (including the birth partner) on the postnatal ward and any siblings of the new baby between 3pm and 8pm.
