About Us

Our Cardiology service is delivered by a combination of consultants, nurse specialists and physiologists. We offer services for both outpatients and inpatients, the latter in the 30-bed cardiac unit in Bronte Ward, on Level 5 of Esher Wing.

General Cardiology clinics are located in the main outpatients department. This is also where we carry out diagnostics procedures such as echocardiograms, ECG and blood pressure monitoring, and procedures such as implanting pacemakers.

Temporary relocation of cardiology outpatient services

We are pleased to advise that our cardiology outpatient services are currently being refurbished to improve the environment for patients and our staff.

The following cardiology services have temporarily relocated to Corridor H (outpatients department):
• Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Cardiology tapes, blood pressure monitoring and event recorders
• Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic (RACPC)
• Cardiology pre-assessment
• Pacing and implantable loop recorders (ILR)

The following services have now been temporarily relocated to Canbury Ward (Level 7, Esher Wing):
• Exercise tolerance testing
• Echocardiogram outpatients

Please note, the Cardiac Investigations area leading up to the outpatients department is now closed.

We apologise for any inconvenience. Patients with appointments that will be affected by the temporary relocation of services, have been informed of these changes. If you have any questions, please email the Cardiology department:
