Miss Karyn Shenton qualified from Guys in 1990, completing Basic Surgical Training at St George’s and Higher Surgical Training on the South West Thames Rotation. Whilst at St George’s she developed an interest in Breast Surgery which she pursued throughout her training, including spending one year in a National Oncoplastic Fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
She was appointed as a Consultant in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery at Barts in 2006 gaining significant experience in both reconstructive surgery and the management of patients with screen-detected breast cancer. She moved to Kingston in 2012.
