Professional background
Mr Ramesh completed his higher surgical training in Orthopaedic surgery in the South East Thames region (Guy’s & St Thomas’ hospitals) in London followed by a fellowship in Preston / Chorley hospitals. He was entered on to the Specialist register for Orthopaedic surgery in 2005.
Mr Pal Ramesh was awarded the prestigious international American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society’s (AOFAS) travelling fellowship in 2007, preceded by DePuy travelling fellowship in 2006. This allowed him to visit and train with a number of Foot & Ankle surgeons within North America including Columbus, Galveston, Houston, Minnesota, Toronto, Rochester, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore.
Mr Ramesh is actively involved in clinical research and academic development and has presented his work at Orthopaedic conferences both nationally and internationally. He is committed to teaching in UK and overseas. The most recent one was at AOFAS conference, Florida in 2013, where he delivered an invited lecture on mid foot tendon pathology.
Professional memberships
Mr Ramesh is a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital since August 2005 and holds membership of the British Orthopaedic Association, BOFAS, IOA and American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.
