Dr Elisabeth Peregrine graduated in Medicine from the University of London (UMDS) in 1993 after obtaining a BSC in Basic Medical Science with Psychology in 1990. She completed her postgraduate training in London and obtained her CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and was accredited as a Subspecialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine in 2007. During her training she undertook research on the ‘Use of Ultrasound in Labour’ and obtained an MD in 2007.
Dr Peregrine was a Consultant at UCLH in London for 3 years before being appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at Kingston in 2010. She has a broad range of experience in Obstetrics including labour and delivery care, multiple pregnancy and maternal-fetal medicine. She set up the current local Fetal Medicine service at Kingston and has close links with the regional tertiary centre at St Georges’ hospital.
She has a passion and commitment to postgraduate and multidisciplinary training with extensive experience in education. She is a Simulation and Human Factor trainer and has been the Obstetrics and Gynaecology College Tutor at Kingston for 4 years. She was awarded the RCOG National Trainer of the year Award in 2018 and is the Trust Careers and Mentoring Education lead.
