Miss Mittal Patel MBBS, MRCOG, is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with special interest in Urogynaecology.
She qualified from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, completing her training in Yorkshire and London and has experience of working in many teaching hospitals. She is completing a Medical Doctorate (MD) from Imperial College, where she undertook research on bladder pain and innovative treatments for overactive baldder. She has several publications in the field and has presented nationally and internationally.
She has experience of medical and surgical management of urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, bladder pain and birth trauma. She is trained in performing urodynamics (saline and video), diagnostic and operative flexible cystoscopies, and pelvic floor scanning.
She has a keen interest in teaching and regularly teaches at Imperial College Undergraduate department and as part of the multidisciplinary team on labour ward.
