Professional background

Mr Bloom was appointed to Kingston as Consultant Surgeon in 1997 after training in Manchester, USA and London. He has a special interest in colorectal cancer and has been Lead Clinician since 1998. He is a trained Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Association of Coloprotologists of Great Britain and Ireland. He has also written multiple peer reviewed articles.
