Dr Attipoe studied Medicine at Imperial College with an additional 1-year BSc in Psychology and Psychiatry. She trained in rheumatology in London and has worked at various hospitals including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and University College Hospital. This has provided extensive experience in all aspects of rheumatology.
She has undertaken a two-year MD, at King’s College London, comparing ultrasound to a novel whole-body radionuclide scan in detecting rheumatoid arthritis activity. She has completed the Canterbury University Ultrasound Course accrediting her for musculoskeletal scanning. She has substantial experience in inflammatory arthritis trials, has presented at national/international conferences, and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
She was appointed as a Consultant Rheumatologist at Kingston Hospital in May 2021.
